DONATE: Kosher Meals to Healthcare Workers + Support Kosher Restaurants – KOSHER19

With Coronavirus keeping our hospitals busy, many kosher observant doctors, nurses, and other essential personnel are being overworked throughout the healthcare system saving lives.

Additionally, many small businesses are suffering economically, including kosher restaurants, with only a fraction of takeout/delivery orders recouping their lost revenues.

KOSHER19 is a new venture started by Bethany Mandel (being supported by YeahThatsKosher) putting (kosher) food in the hands of healthcare workers (Jewish and not) on the frontlines of the COVID crisis. We want to keep our Kosher businesses afloat in the middle of the lockdowns. We want to send a message to these folks risking their lives that they have our love and support.

In the last few days alone, KOSHER19 has already supported the following medical centers: Cornell, NYU, Columbia-Presbyterian, Maimonides, Howard University, Holy Cross (MD), Lincoln (Bronx), Brookdale (Brooklyn), JFK (West Palm Beach), Phoebe Putnam (Georgia), Monmonth Medical Center in Lakewood (formerly known as Kimball), Lenox Hill, Bellevue, Ocshner Baptist, PLUS four different hatzolah crews in the NYC area alone… plus…
… supported the following kosher businesses in the process: Ben Yehuda Pizza in Silver Spring, MD; Amnon’s Pizza in Brooklyn, NY; Lake Como Pizza in New York, NY; Sushiana Restaurant in Highland Park, NJ; and Zevy’s Pizza in Fair Lawn, NJ to name a few.

While this non-profit initiative has just begun, we’ll need to keep raising money until Coronavirus has been defeated to keep supporting our medical professionals and kosher businesses.

DONATIONS: If you would be willing to donate towards the cost of getting this off the ground, please donate via GoFundMe OR Venmo (@BethanyShondark). Please note on the donation it’s for KOSHER19.
