Celebrate National Doughnut Day 2024 with Free Kosher Donut Deals this Friday!

Doughnut fans, rejoice! A day dedicated to the classic sweet treat is right around the corner, and plenty of kosher donut franchises are offering discounts and freebies to mark the occasion. National Doughnut Day is celebrated annually on the first Friday in June, which falls on June 7 this year.

Created around 86 years ago by the Salvation Army, National Doughnut Day commemorates the “Donut Lassies.” This group of women volunteered with the Salvation Army in 1917, traveling to France to care for wounded soldiers. They boosted the troops’ morale by making doughnuts, a tradition that continues to bring joy today.

This year, several kosher chains throughout the U.S. are celebrating with special deals. Here are four chains where you can score free and discounted kosher doughnuts:

Dunkin’

Dunkin’ fans can get a free classic doughnut with the purchase of any drink while supplies last. Find kosher Dunkin’ locations.

Krispy Kreme

On June 7, Krispy Kreme is giving away one free doughnut per customer at participating U.S. locations while supplies last. The deal will be offered in-store only and excludes specialty and limited-time doughnuts. Check out kosher Krispy Kreme locations.

Doughnut Plant

Known for their unique flavors, Doughnut Plant is not giving away a free doughnut on June 7, but they are turning the clocks back to 1994 (when they were founded) and offering select donuts at $1.75 each. Find kosher Doughnut Plant spots.

Doughnut Plant’s Coconut Cream square donuts are amazing!
