Panama City’s kosher dining scene just got a flavorful addition with the grand opening of Sababi Pita, a new eatery offering fresh, authentic Mediterranean-style pita creations. Conveniently located on Calle 47 in the Marbella district, near the Waldorf Astoria and Hilton hotels, this new spot is a prime destination for locals and tourists alike looking for quality kosher eats in the heart of the city.

A Diverse & Flavorful Menu

Sababi Pita specializes in Middle Eastern street food, featuring an array of pita-based dishes, hummus variations, and hearty plates. The menu highlights include:

  • Falafel Pita ($5) – Classic deep-fried chickpea balls served in a soft pita with fresh salad.
  • Falafel Combo ($8) – A full meal with falafel pita, salad, fries, and a drink.
  • Hummus with Meat ($12) – Creamy hummus topped with savory meat, served with pita and pickles.
  • Pargiot ($15) – Grilled chicken thighs in a pita or plate, paired with hummus, salad, and potatoes.
  • Kebab ($15) – A generous serving of three seasoned kebabs, complemented by hummus and fresh vegetables.

The restaurant is open daily until 11:00 PM, with extended hours on Motzei Shabbat until midnight—perfect for those craving late-night Middle Eastern flavors.

Sababi Pita is located at C. República de Uruguay, Panamá, next to the city’s Waldorf Astoria hotel, and is kosher certified by Shevet Ahim.
