American Airlines now lets AAdvantage members pre-order meals before they get on the plane. Flyers can choose between fresh salads and sandwiches on their upcoming flights. It’s easy to place an order by simply clicking on the “Pre-Order Now” button in the email you should receive before your flight to place an order for yourself and everyone traveling in the same reservation.
Kosher travelers should use meal code: KSML
All kosher meals are certified by the OU.
If you have issues reserving your kosher meal, contact American Airlines here.

Nice to know. This makes it really easy.
I’m a little surprised that this is new – then again, I don’t think I have ever flown American.
cool to know, thanks for the info!
It’s really easy if you are flying one of the three domestic flights on which American offers special meals, otherwise you go hungry while others around you are eating. Delta, fortunately, doesn’t have this restriction, they offer kosher meals on any flight were meal service is offered.
