Expanded Kosher Options + Discounted Tickets at Hersheypark for Summer 2025

For Summer 2025, Hersheypark in Hershey, Pennsylvania, is once again offering a solid lineup of kosher food options for park guests. Whether you’re spending a full day with the family or stopping in for a few rides and a sweet treat, kosher visitors will find several supervised options throughout the park — all certified by Star-K.

Keepin’ It Kosher: The Main Stand

The primary kosher food location inside Hersheypark is the Keepin’ It Kosher stand, now operating from the back side of Great Bear Catering in Kissing Tower Hill, between The Hollow and ZooAmerica. Open Sunday through Thursday from 12:00pm to 7:00pm, this stand offers a wide variety of hot and cold meals and snacks, ideal for both lunch and dinner.

New menu items for Summer 2025 include:

  • Potato Knish
  • Soft Pretzel
  • 3 Meat Hoagie
  • Turkey Hoagie
  • BBQ Wings
  • Curly Fries
  • Cut Watermelon
  • Fountain Soda
  • Chocolate Chip Cookies
  • Hummus with Vegetables

The entire menu at Keepin’ It Kosher is meat and pareve, and under strict Star-K kosher supervision.

This stand is operated in partnership with Central PA Kosher Mart, which provides kosher meals and services to the region. For more details, visit: centralpaskoshermart.com

Kosher Snacks Across the Park

In addition to the main stand, Hersheypark also features several kosher dairy snack options, also supervised by Star-K, available at various concession stands:

  • Dippin’ Dots
  • Pepsi Freeze
  • Kettle Korn
  • Rita’s Italian Ice

These park favorites offer dairy and pareve options for those looking for a refreshing treat between rides.

Hershey’s Brand Products

Nearly all of Hershey’s chocolate products, like Reese’s, Kisses, and more available at the park, and even most of their non-chocolate products, are been certified kosher by the OU and bear the OU symbol on the package. Most products are OU-D, non-Cholov Yisroel.

Kosher Catering at the Park

For larger families or groups visiting Hersheypark, Kosher Catering is also available from the same location as Keepin’ It Kosher at Great Bear Catering. This option provides prearranged kosher meals for events, group trips, and private functions, also under Star-K supervision.

Kosher Groceries and Markets Outside the Park

Those planning longer visits or looking for additional kosher & minyan options outside Hersheypark will find helpful resources nearby:

  • Degel Israel Synagogue in Lancaster (1120 Columbia Avenue) operates a small kosher market on site. The store carries kosher groceries and frozen items. Contact the synagogue for hours.
  • Kesher Israel is the nearest Orthodox shul to Hersheypark. It is located at 3200 N 3rd Street in Harrisburg
  • Lancaster Kosher offers fresh kosher food in Lancaster, PA, and is tentatively open from July 4th weekend through Labor Day weekend. Visitors can find up-to-date information at lancasterkosher.com.
  • The nearest place to Hersheypark to get kosher food is the Giant at 2300 Linglestown Road in Harrisburg. This grocery store has a kosher section with packaged food as well as a fully kosher in-store bakery with pareve breads and dairy cookies, donuts, and other pastries.

Both locations are within reasonable driving distance of the park and help support kosher travelers throughout Central Pennsylvania.
