A Kosher First for Fitzrovia
Arros QD, a celebrated Spanish fine-dining restaurant in London’s Fitzrovia, will host a one-night-only kosher pop-up experience on Sunday, May 18, 2025. Known for its upscale Valencian cuisine and signature open-fire cooking, the restaurant is partnering with kosher food writer and content creator Joanna Nissim to bring this unique event to life.
This marks the first time Arros QD will serve a fully kosher menu. For kosher observant diners, it’s a rare opportunity to enjoy gourmet Spanish fusion cuisine in a luxury setting typically inaccessible to the kosher public.
The event will be kosher certified under the Kehillas Federation with full supervision.

Elevating Kosher Cuisine in London
Joanna Nissim, known for her social media presence around kosher dining, drew inspiration from high-end kosher restaurants in the United States. Her goal is to bring that level of culinary creativity and sophistication to the London kosher scene.
“I wanted to give guests a flavour of the meaty menu that would otherwise be off-limits,” said Nissim. Her vision is to create not just a meal, but a full fine-dining experience for the kosher community, something still relatively uncommon in the UK market.
The Challenges of a Kosher Takeover
Converting a non-kosher kitchen into a halachically acceptable space is no small feat. Once Arros QD concludes its Saturday night service, the restaurant’s kitchen will be fully kashered. All cookware, crockery, and utensils will be swapped out for new kosher-approved items. Ovens will be used with double-wrapped food, and the open-fire grill—one of Arros QD’s key culinary features—will be adapted using kosher methods.
Executive Chef Eduardo Adrobo shared his excitement about the pop-up. Though he has some experience cooking for kosher events in private homes, this marks the first time he’ll operate a high-end kitchen under full kosher supervision for a public dinner service.

What to Expect
The kosher tasting menu will offer diners a refined and creative take on Spanish and Mediterranean flavors. Guests can expect a carefully curated experience designed to highlight seasonal ingredients and the signature style of Arros QD—fully within kosher standards.
Seating is limited and available by reservation only through the SevenRooms platform. Given the popularity of Nissim’s events and the exclusivity of this one-night kosher takeover, advanced booking is strongly encouraged. Reservations are £150 per person.
This event is a major step forward for kosher fine dining in London and signals the potential for future collaborations that bring elevated kosher cuisine to mainstream restaurant settings.
