The following note was just published by the Vaad HaKashrus of the Five Towns in Long Island:
Due to Kashrus violations, Waffelino located at 310 Central Avenue, is no longer under the Vaad of the 5T Certification, effective immediately.
It is unclear at this time if the restaurant will continue operating as a non-kosher restaurant or seek other kosher certifications.
5T Vaad is notorious for its strong armed mafia like tactics. Continue operating as a non kosher restaurant? Please. They probably just didn’t pay their enormous Vaad bill quickly enough or didn’t hire an approved mashgiach.

Did you see the letter from waffelino posted by Jj? There are two sides to every story and it’s long been known how this Vaad uses strong arm and blackmail tactics all in the name of ‘kashrus’.
