New Kosher Persian-Mediterranean Restaurant “Eshel” Opens in NYC

A new kosher restaurant, Eshel, has opened on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, introducing a menu inspired by Persian and Mediterranean cuisines. Eshel focuses on a variety of Middle Eastern and Persian dishes, offering a diverse selection of appetizers, entrées, and specialty rice dishes.

The menu highlights include a selection of grilled meats, slow-cooked stews, and rice dishes with bold flavors. Specialty rice options, such as Jeweled Rice with candied orange peel and pistachios and Albalu Rice with sour cherries, are included alongside dishes like chicken skewers, lamb chops, and beef stew.
