We recently announced that Zaro’s Bakery was no longer kosher certified
Yesterday the OK tweeted out that Zaro’s Bakery was kosher under their certification:

However, after speaking to the OK, we learned that this tweet was misleading. The OK is only certifying their prepackaged goods, which are produced in a bakery separate from the bakery shops and cafes across NYC.
The food and baked goods in the shops will remain uncertified unless it is in a prepackaged container bearing the OK symbol.
