It is a great time to be a Jewish baseball fan (unless you root for the Mets). The 2026 season features an impressive spread of Jewish Heritage Nights, Jewish Community Celebrations, and related events across Major League Baseball and the Minor Leagues, from Coney Island to the Nevada desert.
The list you are about to read was originally compiled and shared by @ZackRaab on X — Zack Raab is a senior coordinator in MLB’s Minor League Baseball club services department, an Orthodox Jew, a Jewish baseball evangelist, and the person most responsible for tracking and promoting these events across the sport. He does this every year, and the community owes him a serious debt of gratitude for it.
We have also noted, where applicable, which stadiums have certified kosher food stands available. For the full rundown on kosher food at MLB stadiums this season, see our guide: Kosher Food at MLB Stadiums: The Complete 2026 Guide.

The Full List
1. Detroit Tigers – Sunday, April 12
Venue: Comerica Park, Detroit, MI
Opponent: Miami Marlins, 1:40 p.m. ET
Giveaway: Jewish Heritage jersey (with special ticket purchase)
Detroit kicks off the 2026 Jewish Heritage season early. The Tigers are hosting their Jewish Heritage Night as part of their broader heritage game series, and like other heritage nights on the Comerica schedule, it comes with a themed jersey giveaway for special ticket holders. The design features a split navy and white colorway with a Star of David pattern and the classic Old English “D.” Detroit has a meaningful Jewish community history, and this night has become one of the more anticipated cultural events on the Tigers’ home calendar. The opposing team happens to be the Miami Marlins, who host their own Jewish Community Celebration later in the season. Kosher food availability at Comerica Park has not been confirmed for 2026.
2. Brooklyn Cyclones (NY) – Sunday, May 3
Venue: Maimonides Park, Coney Island, Brooklyn, NY
Affiliate: New York Mets (High-A, South Atlantic League)
The Cyclones have made their Jewish Heritage Night one of the most fun and community-oriented events in the minor leagues, and that tradition continues in 2026. In past years the celebration has included a pre-game hora on the field, celebrity appearances from figures like Israeli Olympian A.J. Edelman, kosher food pop-ups including Carnegie Deli-style pastrami on rye and knishes, and a dedicated kosher stand on the main concourse. This year’s event promises more of the same. Notably, the Cyclones are the New York Mets’ High-A affiliate — and given the controversy surrounding the Mets’ decision to once again skip a Jewish Heritage Night at Citi Field in 2026, this Coney Island night takes on additional significance for the local Jewish fan base. This is the spot.
Kosher food: Yes – kosher stand located next to the elevators on the main concourse.
3. Chicago Cubs – Wednesday, May 6
Venue: Wrigley Field, Chicago, IL
Opponent: Cincinnati Reds, 6:40 p.m. CT
The Cubs are calling their 2026 event the “Jewish American Community Celebration,” and are promising special gameday activations recognizing the Jewish community in Chicago. Chicago has a substantial and historically significant Jewish community, and the game takes place during Jewish American Heritage Month. Wrigley Field is one of the MLB stadiums that has historically operated a certified kosher concession stand. If you are heading to the Friendly Confines for this one, check the latest status on the kosher stand before you go via our 2026 kosher stadium guide.
Kosher food: Wrigley Field is confirmed in our 2026 MLB kosher guide. Confirm stand location and hours before attending.
4. Norfolk Tides (VA) – Wednesday, May 6
Venue: Harbor Park, Norfolk, VA
Affiliate: Baltimore Orioles (Triple-A, International League)
The Norfolk Tides, the Triple-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, added Jewish American Heritage Night to their promotional calendar for the first time in 2026. It is listed as a new addition to an otherwise traditional slate of heritage and community nights at Harbor Park. Norfolk is a military city with a notable Jewish community, and this event marks a meaningful expansion of the Tides’ heritage night programming. The Tides play their home games near the waterfront in downtown Norfolk. Kosher food availability has not been confirmed for this event.
5. Nashville Sounds (TN) – Tuesday, May 12
Venue: First Horizon Park, Nashville, TN
Affiliate: Milwaukee Brewers (Triple-A, International League)
The Nashville Sounds are the Triple-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers and play at First Horizon Park in downtown Nashville, right next to the Tennessee Titans’ stadium. Nashville has seen considerable Jewish community growth in recent years, and the Sounds have been active in celebrating the diversity of their fan base through heritage nights. Specific details on giveaways and programming for this night were not yet announced at press time, but the date is confirmed on the Zack Raab list. Kosher food availability has not been confirmed for this event.
6. Somerset Patriots (NJ) – Thursday, May 14
Venue: TD Bank Ballpark, Bridgewater, NJ
Affiliate: New York Yankees (Double-A, Eastern League)
The Somerset Patriots are the New York Yankees’ Double-A affiliate, playing in Central Jersey — right in the heart of one of the densest Jewish communities in the country. Their Jewish Heritage Nights have consistently drawn strong crowds and have featured marquee guests. In 2025, they brought in 1969 Miracle Mets World Series champion Art Shamsky to headline the event, complete with a ceremonial first pitch, autographs, and a hat giveaway. Expect a similar level of programming for 2026, though specific details had not yet been announced at the time of this writing. For New Jersey’s observant community, this is a very accessible and family-friendly option. Kosher food availability has not been confirmed for this event.
7. Rochester Red Wings (NY) – Sunday, May 17
Venue: Innovative Field, Rochester, NY
Affiliate: Washington Nationals (Triple-A, International League)
The Rochester Red Wings are one of the oldest and most storied franchises in Minor League Baseball. They host their Jewish Heritage Night in May at Innovative Field in downtown Rochester, a city with a historically significant Jewish population that traces back to waves of Eastern European Jewish immigration in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The Red Wings are the Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals. Specific promotional details for this year’s event had not yet been announced at press time. Kosher food availability at this event has not been confirmed.
8. Washington Nationals – Tuesday, May 19
Venue: Nationals Park, Washington, D.C.
Opponent: New York Mets, 6:45 p.m. ET
Giveaway: Jewish Community Day hat (with special ticket purchase)
The Nationals are hosting their Jewish Community Day in partnership with the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington. Special ticket buyers receive a Jewish Community Day hat, and the event forms part of the Nationals’ expansive 2026 heritage calendar, which this year includes 12 heritage days recognizing communities ranging from Japanese to Salvadoran to Caribbean. The Nationals have been consistent and enthusiastic participants in Jewish Heritage programming. Nationals Park is a short Metro ride from several D.C.-area Jewish neighborhoods and institutions. Kosher food availability at Nationals Park has not been confirmed in our 2026 guide — check the latest guide for updates.
9. Las Vegas Aviators – Thursday, May 21
Venue: Las Vegas Ballpark, Summerlin, NV
Affiliate: Oakland Athletics (Triple-A, Pacific Coast League)
The Las Vegas Aviators play at the beautiful Las Vegas Ballpark in the Summerlin neighborhood, widely considered one of the premier minor league facilities in the country. The Aviators serve the Las Vegas Jewish community, which has grown substantially as Southern Nevada continues its population boom. Las Vegas has an active Chabad and Jewish institutional presence, and past Aviators Jewish heritage nights have been organized in partnership with local Jewish community groups including LuvSeats and Jewish Nevada. The May 21 opponent is the Albuquerque Isotopes. Kosher food availability for this specific night has not been confirmed, though in past years kosher options have been made available for Jewish Heritage Night events at the Ballpark.
10. San Diego Padres – Tuesday, May 26
Venue: Petco Park, San Diego, CA
Opponent: Philadelphia Phillies, 6:40 p.m. PT
Giveaway: Padres Menorah
San Diego’s Jewish Heritage Celebration has become one of the most beloved and creative Jewish nights in all of baseball, and 2026 is no exception. The special ticket package for this year includes a limited-edition Padres Menorah — a baseball-bat menorah giveaway that has become something of a signature item for this event. The evening opens with Heidi Gantwerk, President and CEO of the Jewish Federation of San Diego, singing the national anthem, followed by a ceremonial first pitch from Rabbi Scott Meltzer of Ohr Shalom Synagogue in honor of 100 years of Jewish life on 3rd and Laurel. The Jewish Federation of San Diego is hosting the community block on the Western Metal Rooftop. It is a beautiful setting, a meaningful event, and a genuinely fun night of baseball. Kosher food availability at Petco Park has not been confirmed for 2026.
11. Baltimore Orioles – Tuesday, May 26
Venue: Oriole Park at Camden Yards, Baltimore, MD
Opponent: Tampa Bay Rays, 6:35 p.m. ET
Giveaway: Jewish Heritage jersey (with special ticket purchase)
This one is particularly noteworthy for kosher fans. The Orioles are hosting their Jewish Heritage Night in 2026 with a special ticket package that includes a Hebrew-script Orioles jersey — and Camden Yards now has a certified kosher food stand for the first time in years. The “Birdland Kosher” stand, under Star-K supervision, is located near Section 83 on the main concourse and serves hot dogs, hot pastrami sandwiches on rye, soft pretzels, potato knishes, chicken nuggets, and chocolate chip cookies. The stand was specifically highlighted on the Orioles’ official special ticket page for Jewish Heritage Night, making this about as synagogue-approved a baseball night as it gets. Baltimore’s Jewish community has deep roots in the city, and the Orioles’ embrace of both a heritage night and a kosher food program reflects a genuine and welcome commitment. Do note: Birdland Kosher is closed on Shabbat, Jewish holidays, and Yom Kippur.
Kosher food: Yes – Birdland Kosher (Star-K), near Section 83. Closed Shabbat and Jewish holidays. See our full guide for details.
12. Boston Red Sox – Wednesday, May 27
Venue: Fenway Park, Boston, MA
Opponent: Atlanta Braves, 6:45 p.m. ET
Giveaway: Jewish Heritage City Connect jersey with “Red Sox” in Hebrew and the number 18 (with special ticket purchase)
Fenway’s annual Jewish Heritage Celebration is one of the most popular and well-organized of any team in baseball, consistently drawing hundreds of tickets purchased through synagogue and community organization group blocks across the New England area. This year’s giveaway is a City Connect jersey with “Red Sox” printed in Hebrew and the number 18 — chai — a detail that will not be lost on anyone in attendance. Multiple congregations and Jewish organizations, from Hadassah to Temple Israel to Temple Emunah, are running their own group ticket blocks for this game. Fenway Park has a Hot Nosh automated kosher vending machine operated by KVH. It opens after Passover each year and is not operating for games before or during Pesach week. It is worth noting the machine does not operate on Shabbat.
Kosher food: Yes – Hot Nosh automated kosher vending machine (KVH supervision). Opens after Passover. Not available on Shabbat. See our full guide for details.
13. Sugar Land Space Cowboys (TX) – Sunday, May 31
Venue: Constellation Field, Sugar Land, TX
Affiliate: Houston Astros (Triple-A, Pacific Coast League)
The Houston Astros’ Triple-A affiliate hosts their Jewish Heritage Night at Constellation Field, located about 23 miles southwest of downtown Houston. The Houston Jewish community is one of the largest and most vibrant in the South, and the Space Cowboys have made this a proper community event in recent years. In 2025, the event offered a kosher food option from Saba’s Wok and Grill through the kosher ticket package, and Jewish Heritage Night events at this venue have been organized in partnership with the Jewish Baseball Museum. Whether a similar kosher arrangement returns for 2026 has not yet been confirmed, but it is a strong precedent and worth checking before the game.
Kosher food: Kosher food was available via Saba’s Wok and Grill in 2025 through the special kosher ticket package. Confirm availability for 2026 before attending.
14. San Antonio Missions (TX) – Sunday, May 31
Venue: Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium, San Antonio, TX
Affiliate: San Diego Padres (Double-A, Texas League)
The San Antonio Missions host their Jewish Heritage Night on the same date as the Sugar Land Space Cowboys, giving Texas Jewish baseball fans a choice of destinations that Sunday. The Missions are the Double-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres and play at Nelson Wolff Stadium on the west side of San Antonio. San Antonio has a smaller but growing Jewish community. Specific promotional details for the 2026 event had not yet been announced at the time of this writing. Kosher food availability has not been confirmed for this event.
15. Lehigh Valley IronPigs (PA) – Tuesday, June 2
Venue: Coca-Cola Park, Allentown, PA
Affiliate: Philadelphia Phillies (Triple-A, International League)
The Lehigh Valley IronPigs host one of the most practically thoughtful Jewish Heritage Nights in the country, offering a special ticket package that historically includes not just a hat but a Glatt Kosher meat meal, prepared under the supervision of the Lehigh Valley Kashrut Commission, served from a dedicated setup at the ballpark. This detail alone makes it a standout event. The Lehigh Valley — Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton — has a meaningful Jewish community, and the IronPigs’ partnership with the Jewish Federation of the Lehigh Valley has made this night a genuine community gathering. Kosher ticket and regular ticket options are offered separately to accommodate both dietary needs.
Kosher food: Yes – Glatt Kosher meal available with the kosher ticket package, under Lehigh Valley Kashrut Commission supervision. Confirm details when purchasing.
16. Worcester Red Sox (MA) – Sunday, June 28
Venue: Polar Park, Worcester, MA
Affiliate: Boston Red Sox (Triple-A, International League)
The Worcester Red Sox (WooSox) have built one of the most impressive heritage night programs in the minor leagues, introducing cultural Heritage Nights starting in 2023 that celebrate ethnic communities with strong ties to Worcester and Central Massachusetts. Jewish Heritage Night returns in 2026 as one of nine heritage nights on the WooSox calendar, alongside Greek, Irish, Caribbean, Southeast Asian, Indian, Portuguese, Korean, and African heritage nights. The WooSox’ heritage nights typically feature pre-game community recognitions, live traditional music, national anthems performed in native languages, and food catering from local ethnic restaurants sold at the concession stands. Worcester has a historic Jewish community. Polar Park is a gorgeous facility that opened in 2021 and has been praised as one of the best new ballparks in any level of baseball.
17. San Francisco Giants – Tuesday, July 7
Venue: Oracle Park, San Francisco, CA
Opponent: Toronto Blue Jays, 6:45 p.m. PT
The Giants’ Jewish Heritage Night at Oracle Park is one of the longest-running and best-attended in Major League Baseball. The Bay Area has one of the largest and most engaged Jewish communities in the country, and the annual event typically sells hundreds of tickets through community organizations like the JCCSF. Special event ticket packages include a Jewish-themed Giants item (in past years a Giants menorah, in others a t-shirt or cap), and the pre-game party in the ballpark plaza typically features live entertainment and food specials. Oracle Park is one of the most scenic ballparks in baseball, sitting right on San Francisco Bay. It is a great night regardless of the baseball. Kosher food availability at Oracle Park for this specific event has not been confirmed for 2026.
18. Tampa Bay Rays – Wednesday, July 8
Venue: Tropicana Field, St. Petersburg, FL
Opponent: New York Yankees, 6:40 p.m. ET
Giveaway: Jewish Community Jersey (with special ticket purchase)
This one carries extra resonance in 2026. The Rays are returning to Tropicana Field this season for the first time since the stadium was significantly damaged by Hurricane Milton in 2024, and Jewish Community Night — which features a giveaway jersey — is one of several heritage and community nights on the revived schedule. The Tampa Bay area has a sizable and active Jewish community, particularly in the South Tampa and St. Petersburg areas. The July 8 matchup is the Yankees, which makes it a premium night on both fronts. Kosher food availability at Tropicana Field has not been confirmed for 2026.

Venue: Heritage Financial Park, Wappingers Falls, NY
Affiliate: New York Yankees (High-A, Eastern League)

The Bradenton Marauders are the Single-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates and play at the historic LECOM Park, which doubles as the Pirates’ spring training home. Venue: ShoreTown Ballpark, Lakewood, NJ
Affiliate: Philadelphia Phillies (High-A, South Atlantic League)

The Jersey Shore BlueClaws play at ShoreTown Ballpark in Lakewood — and for those who follow the kosher community, you will immediately understand why Lakewood is a meaningful setting for a Jewish Heritage Night. Lakewood, New Jersey is home to one of the largest Orthodox Jewish communities in the United States. The BlueClaws are the High-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. Specific programming details for the 2026 event had not yet been announced. Kosher food availability at ShoreTown Ballpark for this event has not been confirmed, but given the location, it would be surprising if the team did not make some kind of kosher arrangement. Worth checking directly with the team before attending.

23. Arizona Diamondbacks – Sunday, August 9
Venue: Chase Field, Phoenix, AZ
Opponent: Los Angeles Dodgers
The D-backs’ Jewish Community Day takes place in a matchup against division rival Dodgers, making it a high-profile game in addition to a community celebration. Past Jewish Community Day events at Chase Field have included performances by the Jewish Community Choir for the national anthem and ceremonial first pitches from Holocaust survivors, bringing a depth of meaning to the evening that goes well beyond the typical heritage night. The Phoenix metro area has a substantial and growing Jewish community, particularly in Scottsdale and Paradise Valley. Special youth ticket discounts are offered with the community day package. Kosher food availability at Chase Field has not been confirmed for 2026.
24. Long Island Ducks (NY) – Tuesday, August 11
Venue: Fairfield Properties Ballpark, Central Islip, NY
League: Atlantic League (independent)
The Long Island Ducks are an independent league team, not affiliated with MLB, playing in the Atlantic League. They play at Fairfield Properties Ballpark in Central Islip, in the heart of Long Island — one of the most densely Jewish regions in the United States. The Ducks have long been community-minded and their Jewish Heritage Night typically draws strong attendance from the heavily observant and conservative Jewish communities across Nassau and Suffolk Counties. 26. Miami Marlins – Sunday, August 23
Venue: loanDepot park, Miami, FL
The Marlins’ annual Jewish Community Celebration is one of the most established and best-attended Jewish Heritage events in MLB, consistently drawing more than 750 dedicated community attendees in a ballpark otherwise challenged with attendance. The event is organized with support from the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, with partial ticket proceeds benefiting local Jewish nonprofits. Past celebrations have featured the singing of Hatikvah before first pitch by local cantors, ceremonial first pitches by the Israeli consul general, pre-game book talks with Jewish baseball authors, and commemorative jersey giveaways. The Miami Jewish community is large, particularly in the Aventura, Surfside, Bal Harbour, and Boca Raton corridor. The Marlins take this night seriously and it shows. loanDepot park also has a certified kosher stand — Kosher Portable — under ORB supervision, located between Sections 2 and 3.
Kosher food: Yes – Kosher Portable (ORB supervision), between Sections 2 and 3. See our full guide for details.
27. Chesapeake Baysox (MD) – Sunday, August 23
Venue: Prince George’s Stadium, Bowie, MD
Affiliate: Baltimore Orioles (Double-A, Eastern League)
The Chesapeake Baysox — formerly known as the Bowie Baysox, recently rebranded — are the Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. They play at Prince George’s Stadium in Bowie, Maryland, in the DC suburbs. The DC-Maryland Jewish community is large and well-established, with particularly strong populations in Montgomery County and Prince George’s County. This Jewish Heritage Night falls on the same date as both the Marlins’ and Yard Goats’ events, making August 23rd a remarkable day for the Jewish baseball calendar. Opponent: Philadelphia Phillies
Giveaway: Mariners-themed Jewish Community jersey (with special ticket purchase)
The Mariners have one of the most community-integrated Jewish Heritage night programs in baseball, with $5 from every special ticket sold going directly to the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle. Special ticket holders receive a Mariners-themed Jewish Community jersey. The Seattle Jewish community, while smaller than those on the coasts, is active and engaged, and the Mariners’ heritage night program overall — featuring more than a dozen cultural nights — is among the most robust in the American League. T-Mobile Park is a beautiful open-air stadium in the SoDo neighborhood. The deadline to purchase the special ticket package for this event is Monday, August 24 at 5 p.m. Kosher food availability at T-Mobile Park has not been confirmed for 2026.
30. Kansas City Royals – Tuesday, September 8
Venue: Kauffman Stadium, Kansas City, MO
Opponent: Arizona Diamondbacks, 6:40 p.m. CT
Giveaway: Royals-themed Jewish Heritage hat (with special ticket purchase)
The Royals wrap up the 2026 Jewish Heritage Night calendar with a game against the D-backs — which doubles as a rematch for those who attended Arizona’s own community day back in August. The Royals have been increasingly active in celebrating their Jewish fan base — their partnership with Jewish Federation and The J (Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City) goes back to Jewish Community Night in 2021. The 2026 event includes a special Royals-themed Jewish Heritage hat and honors community leaders at the ballpark. Kauffman Stadium — “The K” — is one of the most beloved ballparks in baseball, and September in Kansas City is beautiful weather for a night game. Kosher food availability at Kauffman Stadium has not been confirmed for 2026.
