Passover Dining Returns to Talia’s Steakhouse on the Upper West Side
For more than two decades, Talia’s Steakhouse & Bar has hosted Passover Seders and holiday meals for guests looking to celebrate Pesach in a restaurant setting in Manhattan. This year, the Upper West Side kosher steakhouse will again offer a full lineup of Passover dining options, including two Seders, holiday meals throughout the week, and Chol Hamoed dining service.
Passover 2026 begins at sundown on April 1 and continues through April 9. Talia’s will host its traditional Seder experiences on the first two nights of the holiday, April 1 and April 2 both at the restaurant and at the Jewish Center. Guests can attend either with family or individually, as the restaurant accommodates both large groups and single diners.
The Seders are designed as non-communal experiences, meaning each table conducts the Seder at its own pace while enjoying the restaurant’s prepared Passover meal. All traditional elements of the Seder are provided, including a Seder plate, matzah, wine or grape juice for the four cups, and Haggadahs for participants.

What Guests Can Expect at the Seder
The Seder meal at Talia’s is served as a multi-course prix fixe dinner. The meal includes the traditional components required for the holiday, along with a full plated dinner prepared by the restaurant’s kitchen.
Typical offerings include:
- Traditional Seder plate with all ritual items
- Matzah and wine or grape juice for Kiddush
- Soup course such as matzah ball
- Main dishes including grilled meats, fish, or braised entrées
- Dessert course to complete the meal

Holiday Dining Throughout Passover

In addition to the Seders, Talia’s will operate throughout the entire holiday with additional Passover dining options.
The restaurant will serve:
- Prix fixe Pesach Seders both nights at the restaurant
- In addition to the regular Seders at the restaurant, Talia’s will also be catering both Seders at The Jewish Center (131 W 86 St). For more info, Click Here.
- Prix fixe Yom Tov lunches and dinners
- Full dining service on Chol Hamoed (Chol Hamoed Menu)
During Chol Hamoed, guests will be able to dine from an à la carte Passover menu rather than only fixed holiday meals. This allows visitors to stop in for regular restaurant dining during the middle days of the holiday.

Seder Takeout and Pickup Options
For those hosting their own Seder at home, Talia’s Steakhouse is also offering a full Passover Seder takeout menu that can be picked up in advance of the holiday.
The package includes the prepared meal components needed for the evening, allowing families to conduct their own Seder at home while serving a professionally prepared Pesach meal.
The takeout menu focuses on the food itself, with optional add-ons such as matzah, Seder plates, or grape juice available separately if needed. Orders must be placed ahead of time and picked up before the start of Passover.
Additional Passover Options: Shawarma Shabazi
For those looking for additional Passover dining options in the same area, Talia’s sister takeout restaurant, Shawarma Shabazi, located next door, will also operate with a Pesach menu over Chol Hamoed. In keeping with Kitniyot rules, ingredients such as hummus, tahini, and falafel will not be served during the holiday.

How to Reserve a Seat for Passover
Reservations for Passover 2026 are already open, and seats typically fill quickly each year.
Guests must reserve in advance and prepay before the holiday begins. Reservations can be made online through the restaurant’s Passover reservation page or by contacting the restaurant directly.
Early booking is recommended, especially for the Seder nights, which traditionally sell out well before the holiday begins.
