The Crown Market in West Hartford now has a new, vibrant cafe for customers to enjoy conversation and camaraderie over food. The Schmooze is newly opened to foster community and create a hub for friends to meet.
The cafe allows customers to grab pastry, pizza, sushi or prepared food from the 5 O’Clock Shop and sit down to enjoy a meal. The Schmooze physically opened as a nameless cafe in December but was officially launched April 11 by owners Khen and Debra Raviv.
It includes photography from Israel on the cafe’s walls to add vibrancy while allowing people to gather in a kosher setting. The Schmooze will host social events, including live music. Follow The Crown Market on Facebook and @crownmarketwh on Instagram.
The Schmooze is inside The Crown Market at 2471 Albany Ave in West Hartford. Its hours are Sunday from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.
