BobaTbot officially opened in Miami in February, possibly making it the first fully dedicated authentic kosher Boba Tea shop in the country. (Yes, there are other places that have been serving kosher Boba recently). Just this week, YAAAS Tea recently became kosher in Great Neck, making it the second kosher boba tea store in the country.
The shop offers bubble tea, smoothies, coffee, ice cream and Tayiaki waffles – which is its own unique offering in and of itself within the kosher world.
What also makes this store unique isn’t just its novelty in the kosher community at large – but how the boba teas are made. It uses robotic technology to make them, offering an innovative and efficient take on the boba-making process.
Visitors can choose from an assortment of slushes and milk teas with either Cholov Yisrael milk, almond milk, coconut milk or oat milk.
What is Boba?
Boba tea is a Taiwanese drink made with milk, tea, water, sugar, and tapioca pearls. The tapioca pearls, also known as “boba”, are chewy and glossy, and are made from starches, brown sugar, and water.
BobaTbot is located at 754 W. 41st St., in Miami Beach. Hours are Sunday – Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday until 4 p.m. and Saturday from 8 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Its kosher supervision is under Kosher Miami.
