Paprika, an Israeli and Mediterranean Glatt kosher restaurant, officially opened in Great Neck, offering authentic Middle Eastern cuisine in Long Island.
The new restaurant originated out of Manhattan in 2017 following the success of its catering business but closed in 2022.
Due to its inability following the drastic drop in visitors during the COVID-19 pandemic, Paprika shut down after a back-and-forth affair with court orders over its operability.
The new restaurant offers a spacious location for dining in, with a heimish ambiance and signature dishes ideated by chef Liron Zaken.
Paprika offers a brunch, lunch and dinner menu, featuring grilled chicken, schnitzel served with fries, steak shish kabobs and lamb tanzia tagine with onion and apricot served over couscous.
Paprika is open Sunday – Wednesday from 12 – 10 p.m., Thursday until 11 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., and Saturday from 7 – 11 p.m. It’s also open for Shabbat takeout, but orders are due by Wednesday at 4 p.m.
Paprika is located at 8 Bond St. in Great Neck and is certified kosher by the Vaad HaRabonim of Queens (VHQ).
