The Baha Mar Resort in the Bahamas became the first Caribbean resort or hotel to launch a kosher restaurant and also included in-room kosher dining with the launch of the glatt kosher Cinkō restaurant. This weekend, the resort has officially launched a dairy, Cholov Yisroel kosher food truck to complement its kosher meat restaurant. The vintage Airstream food truck, named KNOSH, is located just along the beach and adjacent to the massive pool areas behind the property.
Knosh serves healthy dairy, vegetarian, and pescatarian options that can be ordered to your chair beachside or poolside, between 12-4pm daily, Sun-Fri to start, expanding to 11am-6pm in the coming month. Knosh plans on being open year-round, except for Shabbat and chagim.
(Note: there are a number of Airstream food trucks at Baha Mar. Only KNOSH is kosher certified)
At KNOSH you can find tasty cuisines from around the world. Focused on providing fresh, healthy choices prepared with a Caribbean flavor, Knosh’s menu includes vegetarian and pescatarian flatbreads, bowls, sandwiches, and cheese fries.
The resort is looking to offer items to all guests, so expect unique items that are not offered elsewhere at Baha Mar, although these are kosher certified. Menu items include a seared tuna/quinoa/hummus bowl (we’ve tried this and it’s delicious!), Bahamian Bahn Mi sandwich, Eggplant Parm flatbread, Loaded Cheese Fries, as well as a kids menu that includes grilled cheese, plain cheese flatbread, and more.

The Baha Mar resort is a massive complex of 3 hotels, a casino, spa, over a half dozen pools, beach club, water park, and dining/shopping complex with many luxury shopping outlets. In addition to Cinkō and Knosh, kosher diners can also find kosher to-go meals, snacks, and bagels at Cafe Madeleine, and kosher ice cream (Cholov Stam) at multiple locations on the property.
KNOSH, Cinkō, and the kosher options at Cafe Madeleine are all kosher certified by the Chabad of the Bahamas, with mashgiach temidi. Knosh is Cholov Yisroel, Cinkō is Glatt Kosher, and the bagels & challah found at Cafe Madeleine are all Pas Yisroel.
