While there is no shortage of kosher steakhouses in New York, the Garment District is now getting its own kosher steakhouse, now that Abigaels is no more. Now open is Tabernacle Steakhouse, a high-end restaurant under the auspices of Chef Anthony Venegas.
Diners can begin with some of Tabernacle’s creative appetizers that include dishes such as lamb shakshuka, grilled romaine salad, and lamb rillette.
For mains, the restaurant offers a variety of high end steak cuts, fish dishes and more. For dessert, Tabernacle offers a mix of classic and unique items that will satisfy everyone. Options include fondue, carrot cake, and ice cream.
