A new fast-food restaurant recently joined Houston’s kosher lineup. Dave’s Crunch House offers fresh ingredients and American fast-food classics to satisfy the urge for a quick bite. It blends crispy textures and juicy meats with classic Southern chicken dishes.
Dave’s Crunch has a rotating selection of domestic, imported and craft beers on tap to go with an extensive menu. Items include a Chili Burger, which is a four-ounce smash burger with beef chili, Dave’s Secret Sauce, lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions and crispy onions, in addition to a Loaded Dog, which is a Romanian hot dog with BBQ pulled beef, pickles and coleslaw.
Sandwiches include a Southern Fried Chicken sandwich with coleslaw, dill pickles, maple aioli, and creamy ranch dressing in addition to a Chicken Caesar with grilled chicken, lettuce, tomato, red onion, avocado and caesar dressing. Visitors can also build their own burgers, sandwiches or salads as they like by mixing and matching proteins with toppings and dressings.
Dave’s Crunch House is at 5711 Bissonet in Bellaire and is open Sunday – Thursday from 11:30 a.m. – 10 p.m. It’s kosher-certified by the Houston Kashruth Association and Mehadin Kashrus of Texas.
