El Al and other airlines flying to and from Israel are not halting their flights into and out of Ben Gurion due to Hamas’ rocket attacks and Israel’s Operation Protective Edge response.
Additionally, some airlines are allowing passengers who have already booked their travel to change their tickets at no cost. Obviously, each airline has set their specific limitations, but most are fairly generous considering that they have no obligation to do so.

According to DansDeals:
5 carriers fly nonstop from North America to Tel Aviv. Of those, Delta has the most generous change fee waiver policy, followed by El Al, and then United. Air Canada and USAirways have yet to announce any change fee waivers.
Air Canada: No waiver (yet). Delta Airlines: For reservations through 07/31 you can change to flights until 08/15 with no change fee or fare difference. For reservations through 07/31 you can change to flights for 1 year from ticket purchase with no change fee, but you will pay any fare difference. EL AL: For reservations through 07/18 you can change the date to fly anytime within the next 6 months with no change fee but you will pay any fare difference. United: For reservations through 07/13 you can change to flights that are within 24 hours of your ticket with no change fee or fare difference. For reservations through 07/13 you can change to flights for 1 year from ticket purchase with no change fee, but you will pay any fare difference. USAirways: No waiver (yet).
