Kosher Chicken Tender Spot “Row Row Chicken” Opening Soon in 5 Towns

The 5 Towns is about to welcome a new kosher fried chicken destination. Row Row Chicken Co., a fast-casual restaurant opening soon in Hewlett, NY, will offer a streamlined menu of crispy chicken tenders, fried chicken sandwiches, and grilled chicken salads. Inspired by the popular non-kosher chain “Raising Cane’s,” this eatery is bringing a kosher version of that crave-worthy comfort food experience to the local community.

A Kosher Twist on a Classic Concept

Just a few storefronts away from the Young Israel of Hewlett, Row Row Chicken Co. will serve a focused menu centered around high-quality chicken dishes. Expect juicy, hand-breaded chicken tenders, flavorful dipping sauces, and simple but satisfying sides. Grilled chicken options and hearty salads will round out the menu for those looking for lighter fare.

This homage to Raising Cane’s will fill a niche in the kosher dining scene, bringing a much-needed chicken-focused option to a neighborhood already known for its diverse kosher offerings.

Timeline and Kosher Certification

The restaurant is planning to open in the next 6 to 8 weeks. The business is working on obtaining kosher certification from the Vaad HaKashrus of the Five Towns and Far Rockaway (5 Towns Vaad) prior to launch.

Location and Community Connection

Situated in a central part of Hewlett’s commercial district, the restaurant is ideally located for locals and visitors alike. Its proximity to shuls and schools makes it a convenient option for casual lunches, Shabbos prep, or a weeknight dinner.

Location: Row Row Chicken Co., 1239 Broadway, Hewlett, NY 11557
Kosher Certification: TBD. Aiming for 5 Towns Vaad.
Opening: Expected in 6–8 weeks from the date of publication.
