Mi Café Opens in Passaic as a Fine Dining Sister Spot to Main Ingredient
Passaic’s kosher dining scene has just expanded with the opening of Mi Café, a sophisticated new dairy restaurant from the owners of Main Ingredient. Unlike its fast-casual sister restaurant, Mi Café offers a refined dining experience with full waiter service, making it a destination for those looking for an elevated kosher meal in a relaxed yet upscale setting.
Located just down the block from Main Ingredient, Mi Café sets itself apart by blending high-quality dairy cuisine with a fine dining atmosphere. The restaurant’s menu showcases an array of expertly crafted dishes, featuring everything from gourmet breakfast selections to artisanal pastas and vibrant salads.

Diners can start their meal with freshly baked pastries, bagels, and a selection of omelets, paired with premium coffee and espresso drinks. The lunch and dinner menu offers heartier fare, including handmade pastas, rich soups, and elegantly plated salads. Unlike Main Ingredient, which focuses on takeout and quick service, Mi Café provides a more leisurely dining experience with attentive service, perfect for date nights, business meetings, or special occasions.
