Manischewitz Launches Kosher ‘Deli on Wheels’ Bringing Jewish Comfort Food to the Streets

Manischewitz, a renowned kosher food brand with over 130 years of heritage, is launching its first-ever “Deli on Wheels,” a mobile Jewish deli offering classic Jewish cuisine year-round. This initiative aims to make traditional and modern Jewish flavors more accessible to consumers beyond the holiday season.

Launch Details

The Manischewitz Deli on Wheels is scheduled to debut on March 27, 2025, at select ShopRite locations in New York and New Jersey. Prior to the public launch, a media preview event is planned for March 24, 2025, near the South Street Seaport in New York City. The food truck will temporarily pause operations during Passover, from April 12 to April 20, and will resume service afterward as a full-fledged mobile restaurant offering menu items for purchase.

Menu Offerings

The Deli on Wheels will offer a variety of Jewish deli classics, including:

  • All-Beef Hot Dogs
  • Knishes (including gluten-free options)
  • Matzo Ball Soup
  • Babka
  • Rugelach
  • Hors d’Oeuvres
  • Macaroons
  • Jake Retzlaff Special Edition Matzo Boxes (limited run)

These offerings aim to provide both traditional and modern Jewish flavors to consumers.

The Manischewitz Deli on Wheels will visit various locations on the following dates between 11am to 3pm:

  • Thursday, March 20: 2240 Marlton Pike West, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002
  • Thursday, March 27: 1080 McDonald Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11230
  • Friday, March 28: Old Country Pointe, Plainview, NY 11803
  • Sunday, March 30: Garden State Pavilion ShopRite
  • Thursday, April 3: Uncle Giuseppe’s, Walt Whitman Road, Melville, NY 11747
  • Friday, April 4: 483 S. Livingston Avenue, Livingston, NJ
  • Sunday, April 6: 224 Rt. 4 E and Forest Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652
  • Monday, April 7: 40 Nathaniel Pl, Englewood, NJ 07631

All stops on this schedule before Passover will offer free samplings from the truck. After the Passover holiday, items from the truck will start at $4 and up.
