New Kosher Korean Eatery “Seoul Bite” Opens in Teaneck

Teaneck’s kosher dining scene is expanding with the debut of Seoul Bite, a new fast-casual kosher Korean restaurant opening today, Thursday, May 8, 2025. The restaurant takes over the space formerly occupied by Yalla.

Seoul Bite introduces a menu centered around bold, spicy, and comforting Korean street food, made with kosher-certified ingredients. The concept brings an uncommon culinary style to the Bergen County kosher community, presenting traditional Korean dishes that meet Glatt Kosher standards.

This new eatery emphasizes fast service and deep flavors, offering a variety of dishes often unavailable in kosher restaurants. Seoul Bite brings an immersive experience that mirrors authentic Korean food culture while remaining fully accessible to kosher diners.

Korean Dishes Reimagined for Kosher Diners

The Korean Fried Chicken is prepared with crispy, golden pieces that are twice fried for extra crunch. Guests can choose from three seasoning styles: Soy Garlic, Sweet & Spicy Seoul, or a combination of both for contrast in flavor.

Bibimbap is served as a composed bowl with seasoned vegetables, marinated beef slices, a fried egg, and a spoonful of gochujang sauce over warm rice. Customers are encouraged to mix all the components together just before eating for optimal balance in texture and taste.

Tteokbokki is made with house-prepared chewy rice cakes, simmered in a spicy-sweet gochujang-based sauce. This dish offers bold flavor and a warming kick.

Chicken Katsu features a panko-breaded cutlet fried until golden, served over rice with a savory house sauce. Korean Kosher Ramen includes springy noodles in a spicy broth, finished with classic toppings that reflect traditional ramen styling.

Jap-chae Dupbap consists of stir-fried sweet potato noodles with marinated bulgogi beef and assorted vegetables, served on a bed of rice. The dish balances sweet and savory notes, common in Korean homestyle cooking.

Ordering and Delivery Options

Seoul Bite operates as a fast-casual concept with dine-in seating available, as well as takeout and delivery options. Customers can place orders directly through the restaurant’s website or via third-party apps including UberEats, DoorDash, and Grubhub.

The setup is designed for convenience, whether customers are dining in, picking up on the go, or ordering in for a flavorful meal at home. The online menu features photos and clear descriptions, making it easy to explore unfamiliar dishes.

Location, Hours, and Kosher Certification

Seoul Bite is located at 206 W Englewood Ave, Teaneck, NJ 07666.

The restaurant is Glatt Kosher under the supervision of the RCBC.

Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday from 10:30am to 10:00pm, and Friday from 10:30am to 5:00pm. Closed on Saturday.
