Boba, otherwise known as bubble tea, is a novelty drink that originated in China and has since made its way to the United States. Boba tea is made out of chewy tapioca pearls that makes the texture an interesting and different choice for a treat.
The first, and as of now, the only, dedicated kosher boba tea shop has opened in LA under the name, Boba Tov, within the kosher vegan restaurant WunderEats.
A few flavors offered include matcha latte, strawberry matcha latte, tiger milk tea, and Thai tea.
Boba Tov is kosher certified by Kosher LA and is located inside Wunder Eats at 8326 Wilshire Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA.
The shop is open daily from 11-7.
