UPDATE: Park City WILL have a kosher restaurant this season. See more details here.
While it was a seasonal restaurant serving the kosher skiers and snow bunnies in Park City, UT, Prime at the Canyons will not be reopening this year.
It started out as a kosher restaurant at the Canyons Ski Resort back in 2011 (Bistro at the Canyons), and was taken over by the Prime Hospitality Group last fall, but to no avail. The kosher demand was never fully able to sustain a kosher restaurant in the region, despite a modest showing over the years.
When pressed for a comment, Prime’s ownership has decided to focus its energies on its Passover program this year.

For travelers headed to the Park City / Salt Lake City region, we advise reaching out to the local Chabad which creates prepared kosher meals that can be delivered to any Park City resort for a flat $35 fee, or $15 delivery fee within the city of Park City. Meals can be ordered from the Chabad here.
Call Park City resort kosher line, restaurant still exsists. Heard prime left for undisclosed reason but nothing to do with kosher demand, on contrary, was pretty high last year when i was there.
Thanks. We updated this post and created a new post (linked at the top) to reflect this. Thanks for your comments!
