Earlier today, The Canteen launched their soft opening in Brooklyn on Nostrand Ave. near Ave J. The owner describes the restaurant and fare as “elevated fast food”.
The menu, while still tentative, includes items like hot dogs with a whole variety of toppings, pulled beef spring rolls, pulled brisket sandwiches, popcorn chicken, salami chips, beef jerky, and more.
Tentatively, the restaurant’s weekday hours are opening between 12/1pm and closing between 10pm-Midnight.
Both the menu and store hours will solidify after this initial soft opening phase.
