Only 6 months after changing from Meatos to Shipudei Tziporah, the Israeli restaurant located in Flushing, Queens near Jamaica Estates has closed.
The owner’s original restaurant, Meatos, was a beautiful restaurant but ultimately did not succeed likely after mismanagement and high rents. We unfortunately had a rough experience at Meatos a few months before it converted over, but at the end of the day, perhaps this location is too big and too expensive to support a thriving kosher establishment.
