We recently reported that Ben & Izzy’s Deli had closed for good only a few weeks ago. It seems that the local community’s outpouring of support for the restaurant had caused the owners a change of heart as they announced today that they will reopen, with no official date planned. In a private conversation with one of the owners, he assured us that production would restart next week, but again no dates were given for an official reopening. Our best guess is within the few weeks following the Sukkot holiday Ben & Izzy’s will be back open. We will update this further once we receive more information.
