A new kosher restaurant has opened up in the St. Louis Park neighborhood of Minneapolis, Vitali’s Bistro Cafe. It’s a dairy/vegetarian restaurant serving up sandwiches, paninis, ice cream, muffins, high end coffees and tea. Everything except the ice cream is also certified Cholov Yisroel.
The restaurant is down the block from city hall located at 5101 Minnetonka Boulevard and certified kosher by Minnesota Kosher. All products are certified Cholov Yisrael except the ice cream.

This is a great cafe/bistro. It is the corner unit of a store front strip mall. It feels like a really cozy coffee shop. The tables are surrounded by big comfy chairs and benchs. We spoted a small toy bin next to a table by the window. There was a small selection of Jewish books at the front so you could learn while you eat.
If I lived in the area this would be my new coffee shop. There were many coffees to choose from. I would study or meet friends here to catch up and hang out. There is also a nice selection of ice creams on the menu, so it would make a nice night time hang out too.
Everything on the menu sounded so good, we all had a hard time picking something out. The menu has soups, salads, coffees, crepes (single or double servings. sweet and savory choices), sandwichs/paninis/wraps & ice creams. I had a cinnamon & sugar (single) crepe. It was delicious and tasted like a lighter version of a cinnabun. My brother-in-law had a maple syrup (double) crepe, he loved it. My in laws shared a tuna melt and a salmon panini, they both really enjoyed them.
Next time any of us are in town again we will be back to try more things off the menu. This visiting family from Chicago give Vitali’s 2 thumbs up. We will be back!
So glad that there is a new addition to the Minneapolis kosher scene! I love when there is another option for eating out when I go back home.
Congrats to the team at Vitaliti’s. Best of luck!
