On April 22, 2012 a new restaurant opened in Los Angeles called Abba's on La Brea, a meat restaurant, certified glatt by the RCC. The new restaurant is owned by Simon & Kelly Benarroch, who operated a restaurant/catering operation for many years, and were looking to open a new location with greater capacity.
The restaurant has yet to garner an online review on Yelp or Urban Spoon, and the menu is unavailable on their website. The establishment opened just in time for Passover and a Passover menu for 2012 was available online. Judging from an online picture from their Facebook page, the menu is comprised of deli-fare and can be ordered for take-out.

Oh yeah I’ve heard of this yesterday. And I thought it’s a must-try restaurant in the city of angels! But I’m planning to go a week after it’s grand opening.

The food is very, very good and fresh-almost entirely homemade. Kelly also does baked good that are excellent. They will make up airline meals and meals for traveling. They cater as well-both at the restaurnat and outside. They do beautiful buffets. The restaurant is newly renovated and very nice. We had been going to their other restaurant Simon’s LaGlatt on Fairfax for about 19 years and are following them to this location. Strongly recommend the philly steak sandwich-about 10 napkins and wonderfully messy. Excellent cold cuts.
