The Kitchen Table, one of the most unique Kosher restaurants of modern day, will be closing its doors for good this Sunday, June 3rd, according to their Facebook post yesterday.
I recently had the opportunity to try and review TKT, and was glad I did before they close. Both the service and the food were phenominal. The menu was fun and innovative, and not to mention delicious.
The reason for closing is not 100% clear, but one can assume that operating in a non-Orthodox neighborhood, with a small to moderate Kosher keeping population in the area, was a factor in their lack of financial success.
Locals from Silicon Valley were saddend by the news, and as a fan of good kosher food, I am as well.

I am so disappointed that I didn’t make it there.
