Exciting news for those of you visiting Atlanta as the city has added two new kosher meat restaurants so far this year!
Moshe’s Mediterranean Cuisine is located in Dunwoody. They offer a more upscale restaurant experience with a great variety of Israeli and Sephardi foods. Their lunch menu is well-priced, and dinner offers a more fancy assortment including steaks. They also do it right with fresh-baked pita. If you happen to be by the JCC for an event, Moshe’s is only a few minutes away. Shabbat take-out can be ordered as well. www.moshesonline.com

The latest on the scene is Fuego Mundo in Sandy Springs, a South American restaurant and bar that recently became Kosher. This brings a whole new taste to the Kosher market, with an assortment of tapas, sangria, and flavorful meats, and a nice open wood-fire grill below the big-screen by the bar. Also with a more moderate lunch menu, they include several combo options so you can try out several tapas, meats, or desserts for a more affordable price. Some more American dishes are on the menu for the less-pioneering among us, but they are less impressive (their World’s Greatest Burger, isn’t). The only disadvantage: They’ve run out of room! Reservations are recommended for Saturday nights and larger groups, because there is often a wait to get in. www.fuegomundo.com
