Pizza Block, a kosher pizzeria staple in Riverdale, New York since 2014, is expanding to Long Island with a new location opening in West Hempstead. The grand opening is scheduled for April 30, 2025.
What’s a Kosher Pizzeria Without Sushi?
The new West Hempstead outpost of Pizza Block is designed to serve as a family-friendly fast-casual pizzeria offering kosher dairy cuisine. The menu will feature classic New York-style kosher pizza alongside a self-serve salad bar, pasta, fish, and a sushi counter. These offerings mirror the successful setup from their Riverdale location.
Weekly Pizza Deals and Delivery Options
Pizza Block will introduce a weekly discounted pizza day, offering full pies at a reduced price compared to regular menu rates. Delivery will be available via platforms such as Uber Eats and DoorDash. The restaurant will also provide kosher dairy catering services for events and bulk orders.
Strategic Location Across from the New HANC Campus
The restaurant’s location is strategically positioned across the street from the HANC (Hebrew Academy of Nassau County) campus opening this fall, serving Pre-K through 8th grade.
