The trendy chocolate shop & cafe in the 5 Towns, Cafe Chocolat, is expanding to two new locations in the coming months. It will soon open in Brooklyn, in addition to inside the Spring Valley Marketplace in Monsey.
Cafe Chocolat currently operates year-round in Cedarhurst, with a summer-only location in Woodbourne, NY in the Catskills.
The store boasts carefully crafted chocolates, in addition to rich coffee made by micro-roasters, hand crafted pastries, and custom limited edition cronuts during Chanukah.
All of the cafe’s coffee beans are used within seven days from when they were roasted, promising maximum freshness.
All pastries are made using fresh ingredients with a focus on sustainability and high standards of quality. It strives to provide a hospitable store that leaves a lasting impression while fostering a sense of community.
Cafe Chocolat offers options that are either Cholov Yisroel dairy or pareve with gift boxes and artisanal chocolate bars such as White Chocolate, Lotus Cookie Crunch, and Dark Chocolate.
The Cedarhurst location is at 556 Central Ave while the two new locations will be located at Avenue J in Brooklyn and 1-49 Spring Valley Marketplace in the Monsey area.
It’s currently open Sunday from 9 a.m. – 8 p.m., Monday – Thursday from 7:30 a.m. – 8 p.m., Friday until just before Shabbat, and Saturday from 7:30 p.m. until midnight.
The 5 Towns location is kosher certified by the local Vaad of the 5 Towns. We expect similar local Vaad level kosher certification for the new locations when they open.
