A new grab-and-go bagel store officially received kosher certification on the Upper West Side. PopUp Bagels, which originally started in Connecticut announced its bagels are officially certified kosher.
The store is perfect for commuters looking for a quick bagel as the store doesn’t make sandwiches on-site, similar to the former H&H Bagels on the UWS (not the new version of H&H). PopUp Bagels will have packaged kosher cream cheese and lox with OU hechshers, but the store variety of cream cheeses are not kosher.
PopUp Bagels is located at Columbus and 76th St. in Manhattan. It’s open from 7 a.m. – 2 p.m., Monday through Thursday and until 4 p.m. the rest of the week.
PopUp Bagels is kosher certified by Rabbi Mehlman.
