Following a five-year hiatus, Mendel’s KC BBQ has brought kosher food back to Cleveland Guardians games. The restaurant, Mendel’s Dogs and Deli, debuted in the middle of last season and continues throughout the 2024 season at Progressive Field.
Visitors can enjoy hot dogs, both traditional and topped with house-smoked pastrami and caramelized onions, in addition to beef sausages with sauteed peppers and onions. The menu will also feature a variety of wraps along with chips, pretzels, popcorn, candy, peanuts and drinks.
During Shabbat and Jewish holidays, the stand will operate as a non-kosher stand, with items from Mendel’s not in use during those times.
Mendel’s Dogs and Deli will be located in Section 157 behind home plate with kosher certification from Cleveland Kosher.
