Charcoal Bar and Grill, a high-end kosher Israeli restaurant in the West Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles, is permanently shutting its doors on April 18.
In a WhatsApp message to the Great Kosher Restaurant Foodies group, Yelena Yazmir wrote, “Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, we have been unable to sustain the business and have made the difficult decision to close.”
The Mediterranean steakhouse was known for its carefully grilled meats paired with smoking and flaming cocktails to create a vibrant atmosphere. However, despite its prime location and early excitement, it will officially close down after nearly six years of existence.
Charcoal is located at 7563 Beverly Blvd in Los Angeles, right by Beverly Grove.
