Civitavecchia is a major Italian port, not far from Rome, and near both the airport and cruise port in Italy. The region is typically a kosher food wasteland, but for July and August, kosher food will be stocked in a nearby town’s market. This project is a huge deal for kosher travelers on Italian cruises this summer.
Kosher meat, dairy, bread, and prepared foods from Dolce Kosher can all be found at the Conad Market in Santa Marinella, about a 20-minute drive from Civitavecchia. This is a joint initiative of the Chabad of Rome, Dolce Kosher/Casalino for the prepared food, Yotvata for the dairy, and Centro Kasher for the meat.
For more info, reach out to the Chabad of Rome.
The Conad Market address is at SS 1, 281, 00058 Santa Marinella RM, Italy.
