Kinor Bakikar is a new gourmet addition to Music Square in Jerusalem (Kikar Hamusica כיכר המוזיקה), the host to two very popular eateries: Piccolino and the Blue Hall Music. For those of you who don’t know what Music Square is, it’s located in the Nachalat Shiva neighborhood and features everything music related.
Each restaurant in the vicinity offers something different, with Piccolino serving dairy and fish, Blue Hall Music serving as more of a bar/pub food, Kinor Bakikar fills a void by offering an upscale high end cuisine. Their menu focuses on seasonal and modern dishes that fit the Jerusalem culinary scene. Kinor Bakikar offers dishes like a roast beef and rib eye pizza made in a traditional pizza oven, as well as a rack of lamb served on a bed of mangold and spinach leaves, seasoned with Persian lemons.
The restaurant has the waiters wearing bowties and a live band plays every night. A very classy, unique, and tasteful addition to the Jerusalem culinary scene.
