Snapple’s glass bottle is coming back to New York area shelves, and this time it arrives dressed for a championship. The Knicks x Snapple Peach Tea collector’s edition glass bottle goes on sale Monday, October 19, as Snapple pairs its glass-bottle comeback with a celebration of the Knicks’ 2026 NBA championship.
The return of the glass bottle has been building in Snapple’s home market. The brand, founded in Brooklyn in 1972, phased out glass in 2020 in favor of lighter recycled plastic, then brought the bottle back to New York City as a limited-time offering last October, with packaging celebrating the five boroughs under its Snapsolutely Refreshing platform and flavors including Peach Tea, Kiwi Strawberry, Snapple Apple, Zero Sugar Peach Tea and Lemon Tea. The Knicks edition carries that return into the new NBA season.
The championship bottle first appeared in June, days after the Knicks defeated the San Antonio Spurs in Game 5 of the NBA Finals on June 13 to win the franchise’s first title since 1973. That original run was limited to 100 numbered bottles hidden at mystery locations around the city, with clues released over the course of a week by Staten Island food content creator Danny Mondello, better known as @meals_by_cug. The hunt turned the bottles into instant collectibles, with some reselling for as much as $400, in what Snapple called “a championship, bottled by an iconic New York brand.”

The new bottle keeps the June design: a 16-ounce glass bottle wearing a “2026 Champions” label built around the Knicks logo, with sticker-style artwork and an “Always Knicks” tagline, filled with Snapple’s Peach Tea. The celebration extends to Madison Square Garden for the home opener, where a limited-edition cup featuring the same artwork will be available exclusively at the Snapple Mini Mart with the purchase of any Snapple drink, while supplies last. The Knicks raise their championship banner at the Garden on Tuesday, October 20, tipping off their title defense against the Philadelphia 76ers at 7 PM in a game airing on NBC and Peacock. The Garden also has a new kosher option this season, with Chickies taking over the kosher stand inside the arena.
Snapple, the Knicks’ official tea partner, is also running an Instagram giveaway for Knicks tickets and merchandise, with entry through the brand’s Instagram account.

Bottles retail for $2.99 while supplies last, landing at bodegas and stores across the five boroughs, the surrounding metro area and parts of New Jersey. Snapple’s drinks are certified kosher by OK Kosher, including the Peach Tea inside the limited-edition bottle.
