Chickies opens a kosher stand inside Madison Square Garden, home of the 2026 NBA Champion New York Knicks. The stand served its first night on Tuesday, September 22. It serves Knicks and New York Rangers home games, as well as concerts, except on Shabbat or Yom Tov.
Madison Square Garden confirmed the stand on October 6 as part of its MSG Eats lineup for the 2026-27 season. The Rangers opened their home schedule October 1 with a 5-1 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Knicks host the Philadelphia 76ers on October 20, when they will raise their first championship banner since 1973. Chickies follows another new kosher option at a New York arena: Smash House announced its stand at Barclays Center last month.

Chickies beyond the Garden
The chain also operates at the American Dream Mall kosher food hall. Chickies is on the Six Flags Great Adventure meal pass menu, too. Its food includes chicken sandwiches and wings with popper sauce.

Sandwiches and bowls

The MSG menu has 17 items. The Cap’n Munch Schnitzel Sandwich costs $25 and comes with crispy chicken schnitzel, lettuce and Kumbaslow sauce, a house aioli, on a freshly baked roll. A Grilled Chicken Sandwich also costs $25. The Chicken Caesar Wrap and Chicken Caesar Salad are the same price.

Deli fans get a Pastrami Sandwich, a Roast Beef Sandwich with Russian dressing and a Turkey & Corned Beef Sandwich at $26 each, plus a Pulled Brisket Wrap with sauteed onions and BBQ sauce for $25. The Steak Sandwich tops the sandwich list at $27.

A Poke Bowl costs $27 and comes with sushi rice, cucumber, carrot, edamame and fresh tuna or salmon. The Quinoa Salad costs $25. The Garden Salad and Grilled Vegetable Wrap also cost $25.

Prices for hot dogs and sides
Thirteen of the 17 items cost $25 or more. The kosher beef Hot Dog costs $10, and a potato Knish is $12. Sausage & Peppers costs $16; beef and bean Chili costs $18. A hot dog and knish together cost $22, less than any sandwich on the menu.

Location and kosher certification
The Chickies stand is on the 6th floor Kalshi Concourse near Section 111, across from the Wayne Gretzky retirement game moment. It sits in the same spot as the Garden’s previous kosher stand, which Abigael’s took over in 2018. Chickies is open for Knicks and Rangers home games and concerts not on Shabbat or Yom Tov. The stand is under Kof-K supervision.
