Located near the heart of downtown Stamford, CT, Kosh is a new meat restaurant appealing to the kosher carnivores in area: both the daytime business crowd, as well as the nighttime locals.
The restaurant is entirely nut/peanut-free with many gluten-free options as well.
Their featured dishes include Montréal style smoked meat (smoked and cured on location), steaks, ribs, sandwiches, salads, seafood, and classical Southern fare.

18972 WINGS WILL BE SOLD THROUGH SUPERBOWL SUNDAY
Kosh is excellent, with lots of different options. They are still working out some kinks but if you go in with an open mind you will enjoy. I bet by February/March things will be running like a well-oiled machine.
My wife and I went here and had a great time. Lot’s of selection on the menu- a nice array of drinks and tasty cocktails as well- We started with the chili soup- very interesting- I had the Kosh burger with onions and montreal smoked beef and it was a huge dish; the sweet potato fries were good, as well. The banana dessert was also delicious- I believe price was standard nice New York meat restaurant. Service was excellent- they let me try the montreal beef, etc and food came quick – it is true they did not have everything on the menu…
I was at the restaurant tonight and was very disappointed. First of all the heating system wasn’t working and it was cold. It was raining and damp tonight. Secondly, my son wanted a cup of tea to warm up and we were told the coffee machine nozzle was broken and there was no hot water for tea. ( You would think they could boil a pot of water and put it in a teapot.) I had the chicken kebob which was ok and my son had the sliders which he didn’t like. The veg spring rolls weren’t great either. Presentation was good. The clincher was the banana signature desert in which the crust wasn’t flakey and it was hard to cut, on top of that the caramel hardened on it and it was like rock candy. When I commented to our waiter he said it’s Kosher and doesn’t have any dairy in it, and I said what does that have to do with a flakey crust. When I got my bill which had 2 appetizers, one entree, a side of fries, desert and a soda came to $69.00.
WIth those prices, Stamford residents won’t be able to support Kosh on a regular basis. Also, there are no kids menu. I think this will be short lived.
iwas there yesterday as well… place was packed… i had a corn beef sandwich. IT WAS HUGE!!!!! and no fat!! I took my son who ordered off the kids menu!!. I look forward to frequenting KOSH
