Kohn’s in St. Louis Replaced by Nate’s Kosher Deli

Just 17 days after the announcement of Kohn’s Kosher Meat and Deli, The Vaad Hoeir of St. Louis announced the soft launch of Nate’s Kosher Deli, with a permanent venue to come at a later date.

Nate’s Kosher Deli will operate under the ownership of Avi Rosenberg, previous Director of Operations at the Simply Sushi kosher franchise. The new deli will have a butcher, dine-in, takeout and catering. The news comes following the report of the 60-year kosher deli closing its business due to financial and legal challenges making it difficult to keep the business.

With the announcement of Kohn’s closure, however, the kosher stand at Busch Stadium will keep its kosher stand after serving Cardinals fans for nearly 11 years.

Nate’s Kosher Deli soft opening will live at 10405 Old Olive Street in St. Louis, MO, replacing Kohn’s. Details to come soon.
