The popular vegetarian Israeli takeout and eatery spot in Hewlett, NY is expanding next door.
For those in the 5 Towns that know what great Israeli, Middle Eastern, North African, and Mediterranean dishes are produced at Gefen Gourmet, they’ll be pleased to know that they are in process of opening a meat location next door called Gefen Glatt, offering a similar but fleishigs menu to the original pareve location, as well as a small sit down space – that may be expanded to a larger dine-in option in the near future.
Gefen Glatt expects to open its doors at the end of December 2023.
