Costco delivery through Uber Eats is now available across most of the United States, giving members another way to order groceries, household essentials, and warehouse-size staples without making a Costco run.
The companies announced the national expansion on September 16. The service has grown from 17 states to 47 states and now covers nearly 600 Costco warehouses. Shoppers can request delivery on demand or schedule an order for later through the Uber Eats app.
Costco Member Deals on Uber Eats
Costco members can connect their membership account at checkout to receive Costco member pricing and access several new offers. Eligible members can get 50% off an annual Uber One membership for the first year, followed by 20% off in later years.
For a limited time, participating Costco warehouses and Costco.com will also sell $100 in Uber and Uber Eats gift cards for $79.99. Consumers who do not yet belong to Costco can purchase a membership through Uber Eats and receive 30% off their first eligible Costco order. Terms apply to each offer.
Uber One members can also receive no Uber fees on eligible grocery and retail orders of more than $60 at select stores. Taxes and other government fees may still apply.
Nearly 600 Costco Locations Are Included
The expanded partnership covers Costco locations in 47 states. A Costco representative confirmed to CNBC that the full selection of Costco items is available for Uber Eats delivery. That includes fresh produce, bulk groceries, household supplies, and Costco-exclusive products.
The U.S. rollout adds to Costco delivery through Uber Eats in Canada, Mexico, Japan, Taiwan, France, and Spain. Costco continues to offer other delivery options, including its same-day service powered by Instacart.
How to Order Costco Through Uber Eats
Open the Uber Eats app or visit the Costco page on Uber Eats, enter a delivery address, and select the nearest participating warehouse. Add products to the cart, connect a Costco membership account at checkout, and choose immediate or scheduled delivery.
Availability, business hours, pickup options, and the items shown depend on the local warehouse. Uber Eats notes that prices listed in the app may differ from in-store Costco prices. Shoppers can track an order in real time while it is being shopped and delivered.
