A Taste of Israel in Texas
The Dallas kosher scene continues to grow, and the newest addition is Pizza Ella, a vegetarian-friendly kosher pizzeria offering Middle Eastern-inspired flavors in Richardson. Opened by Yehuda and Lital Alila — the team behind Meat Point — Pizza Ella aims to provide something missing from the local kosher dining landscape: fresh, flavorful kosher pizza served in a casual setting.
Hailing from Tzfat, Israel, the Alilas bring their culinary roots and experience in kosher dining to this new concept, creating a space that blends Israeli street food energy with high-quality ingredients and a modern menu.

A Diverse and Flavorful Menu
Pizza Ella is strictly dairy and vegetarian, with a few fish options for added variety. The menu pulls from Israeli, Mediterranean, Turkish, and American influences, offering both Neapolitan and New York-style crusts to suit different tastes.

Highlights include the White Pizza with Alfredo, zucchini, sweet potato, and caramelized onions; the Tunisian Pizza made without cheese, featuring harissa, tuna, and preserved lemon; the Lebane Pizza with labane cheese and za’atar; and the Mykonos Pizza topped with olives, Bulgarian cheese, and red onion.
Pizzas come in 12-inch and 24-inch options, with individual slices available. Pricing starts around $14 for small pies and $4.30 per slice. Diners can also choose from a variety of family-style pastas, salads, and breakfast items served from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., including Israeli staples like shakshuka, borekas, and fluffy omelets.
