An overnight fire in late July started at Green Dragon Asian Cuisine (not kosher) and caught on to Zadie’s Bake Shop, Fair Lawn Roadhouse, and Mashu Mashu kosher businesses in Fair Lawn, NJ, closing it for an “undetermined amount of time as of July 26.” The cause remains under investigation. Most of the shopping center was destroyed, but there are no reported injuries or deaths.
This is the second time Zadie’s has closed, including in 2019 when a sedan ran into the bakery, closing the store for several months.
