Since its grand opening, Deli770 at the Westbury Montreal complex has quickly established itself as a culinary hotspot. This eatery, which pays homage to Chabad in referencing its headquarters in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, has captured the hearts of locals and visitors alike. Owned by Eliran Hadad and his wife Liraz, Deli770 is a family-run operation that showcases their commitment to quality and community. Alongside their two sons, Yosef and Ori, and with support from Eliran’s brother Roy in marketing, the Hadads are dedicated to making this venture a success.
Originally founded in St. Laurent in 2015, Deli770 made a strategic move to Westbury, seizing the opportunity presented by prime real estate in a vibrant area. The complex offers 45 minutes of free indoor parking, with a small cost for additional parking.
Deli770’s menu offers classic deli with a modern twist. Guests can enjoy their sandwiches served on freshly baked rye bread or in a grilled panini style. The menu boasts a variety of options, including smoked meat sandwiches, club sandwiches, deli rolls, classic schnitzel, hamburgers, omelets, and poutine, providing a multitude of options.
In addition to their smoked meats, Deli770 also features salads, a soup of the day, hot dogs, and an array of sandwich options, including salami and turkey. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a few tables inside and on the patio, though the deli is particularly popular for take-out and delivery.
Deli 770 is located at 5193 Ave. De Courtrai, Montreal. It will operate under MK Lubavitch Schita and is open 11:30 – 9 p.m. Sunday – Thursday and on Friday until 3 p.m.
