Maalya, a new chef-led meat restaurant, has opened its doors in Kiryat Anavim, adjacent to the Jerusalem suburb of Abu Ghosh, offering a fresh take on Mediterranean cuisine.
Under the guidance of Chef Tal Gazit, Maalya presents a menu that captures the essence of the new Israeli kitchen, blending traditional flavors with innovative culinary techniques.
Guests at Maalya can expect to enjoy a variety of dishes that showcase the rich flavors of the Eastern Mediterranean. Highlights include a grilled pumpkin steak served on a hot lentil salad, Moroccan fish topped with pomme purée encased in puff pastry, alongside steak options and grilled skewers. The main courses feature an array of choices such as oxtail risotto, grilled meats, and fish, designed to cater to diverse palates.
For dessert, patrons can indulge in a chocolate mousse, a scoop of vanilla ice cream with berry coulis, among other sweet delights. The restaurant also offers an extensive selection of cocktails, draft beers, bottled beers, and wines, providing perfect pairings for every meal.
