The Catskills Region:
This is a tricky one to gauge. I know that most of the frum areas in the Catskills are within Jewish “bungalow colonies” with a few homeowners staying there year round. I’m also fairly certain that bungalow owners wouldn’t put their properties on AirBNB even if they needed to since they wouldn’t rent it out to someone who didn’t keep kosher.
Having said that, there definitely are a multitude of options in the region. The big question is, how far are these places from the closest shul? I attempted to overlay the AirBNB map with that of a map of shuls in the region, and it’s too difficult to tell how far a walk it could be from any AirBNB location.
It is important to be aware that rentals of less than 30 days are illegal in NY. ( and other areas have their own restrictive laws. You can read here

if you want more clarification. Bottom line, unless it is a 2 family home, or the legal resident of the apartment is there with you, you are breaking the law. ( and don’t forget many condos, co ops, and rental unit owners also have their own rules.
