YeahThatsKosher just spoke to Rav HaMachshir Rabbi Aaron Mehlman, who runs National Kosher Supervision based in NYC, about 18 Dunkin Donuts shops in New York City that are now carrying kosher donuts and other pastries in their stores.
According to Rabbi Mehlman, these 18 Dunkin Donuts locations throughout downtown, midtown and the Upper East side of Manhattan are themselves NOT kosher; however, their bakery items are produced at a strictly kosher commissary in the city (see image).
A current (always check the dates!) laminated certificate (see sample image) must be displayed before purchasing any product.
Kosher DD products include: Donuts, Muffins, Whole Bagels, Cookies, Croissants, Pretzel Twists, Munchkins, Brownies, Bow Ties, and Coffee Rolls
Here are the locations offering these kosher products:

The reality that particular items at the locations listed above is not new. These locations have had a teudah displayed in the window for the last several years that indicate only specific items are kosher, and not the entire store.
